Welcome to the Guild

A Moment of Violence is an Australian Warhammer Online guild aligned with the side of Destruction on the server Ironclaw that aims to bring together funny, mature and dedicated people to enjoy Warhammer to it's fullest.

A Moment of Violence (AMOV) has strong roots and reliable Guild Masters.Through teamwork and participation on all levels AMOV plans to become a formidable and renowned RvR guild on our server of Ironclaw. We are not a RP based guild but we will not reject those whowish to RP occasionally.

We are an Australian guild with most of our members belonging to a GMT +10 timezone. The server we are located on is the Oceanic based Core Ruleset server, Ironclaw. This guild was made by a bunch of funny, jokey guys who love games and want to have a good time playing WAR

Anyone who wishes to join, regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, will be judged by their actions and posts alone. We will not instruct you how to play your character but advice should be taken seriously. We have only a few simple rules, nothing that isn't already expected of you as a human being. Our achievements are simple, having a fun and active guild full of great people who bring their strong game characters to bear upon the fields of WAR.

Although this guild plans to be highly professional and powerful it is inevitable that there will be bigger and higher leveled guilds out there. We are not super nerds and so our guild won't likely be the strongest, but will thankfully be much more tight-knit and enjoyable.

Guild News

Keep taking and other RvR

AMOV has stamped its mighty footprint on Ironclaws tier 3 RvR areas. We now have our own keep (pending server reset

).

We also went on a rampage taking all that dares oppose us. With huge success, we went virtually undefeated in our conquests.

So congratulations to all those who took part, our coordination was above and beyond anything I expected. Hopefully we can continue this into the future. So post up your screenies everyone

Headstart and Release!

Well the time is almost upon us! In less than a day Warhammer is released, at least for those in the head start.

AMOV has decided to play on a server that has a Core Ruleset, the way it was meant to be played.

AMOV will thus be playing on the Oceanic based server of Ironclaw, see you in game!

Open Beta

Well the second preview weekend is over and AMOV have moved into Open Beta!

The guild itself went up in game just the other day on the Ironclaw oceanic server. We're staying away from the queues in Darklands for now. We've had a significant increase in players within our guild and over the next few days additional guild ranks will be open for application.

Recruiting as always is continuing, with most classes nearing full, given there isn't too much mind changing before release.

Open Beta Soon!

Well following a very successful Closed and Preview Weekend A Moment of Violence is now preparing to move into Open Beta!

Recruitment is going steady with the drop of DPS classes in beta being reflected in the applications. Yes it must be a first, the world is now full of tanks and healers.

We've also had a change of banner, although currently it's not permanent we are testing two different banners made by our members.

The website in general has been further opened up to the public with some forums and the roster now publicly viewable.

Beta Testing!

AMOV is proud to announce that the majority of our members will be participating in the Warhammer Closed Beta and upcoming Open Beta and Headstart program!

The impossibly large files have been downloaded, the keys are ready, the tests is about to begin!

Hopefully you to have received a Beta invite, we look forward to seeing you on the field, friend or foe.
